        <title id="abstract-title-0129f4e00edd4d93a799bb76b47a222c">Abstract</title>
        <p id="paragraph-f7943b7d2d8b429bb824ce9f1a4da9d5">Bio-management of <italic id="e-edf207a3f3ba">Aphelenchoides swarupi</italic> in white button mushroom (<italic id="e-49d266dddb9a">Agaricus bisporus</italic>) was done by <italic id="e-5b60f875a2ff">Fictor composticola</italic> in different inoculum levels and at different stages of mushroom cultivation, like, prey and predator at spawning, prey and predator at casing, prey at casing and predator at spawning, prey at spawning and predator at casing with uninoculated control. The treatments where <italic id="e-47f488df504a">A. swarupi</italic> was inoculated at spawning, the final population was higher than the treatments where it was inoculated at casing. The yield was significant when prey was inoculated at casing. Similarly, the spawn run was good when <italic id="e-fb949f728225">A. swarupi</italic> was inoculated at casing and poor when it was inoculated at spawning and <italic id="e-55010c3db24d">Fictor composticola</italic> at casing. Reproduction factor of <italic id="e-921e6d279158">A. swarupi </italic>was maximum when it was inoculated at spawning and predator at casing but minimum when predator at spawning and prey at casing. Even at the lowest concentration (1 %) of neem seed kernel water extract (NSKWE), caused 99.5 % nematode mortality after 24 h. Hence, its compatibility cannot be recommended with <italic id="e-a01067ef612e">F. composticola</italic> for the management of mushroom nematodes.</p>
